Español de la ofi tech: combinaciones naturales (A2)
Dannis
Collocations you’ll hear in Spain (A2). Think of “collocations”: fixed, natural combinations used in programming teams.
hacer un commit (colloquial). Very common in IT teams in Spain. Neutral alternative: subir los cambios / confirmar el commit.

hacer un deploy (Spanglish). Standard Spanish: desplegar / hacer un despliegue (a producción).
realizar pruebas (= ejecutar tests). More formal than hacer pruebas. In everyday speech, both are used.

subir cambios = send code to the repo/server. Colloquial: pushear (from “push”). Clearer for everyone: subir código/cambios a producción.
abrir un ticket = create a support ticket. Common technical alternative: abrir/crear una incidencia (Spain).

Cultural note: in IT teams there’s a lot of Spanglish: deployar, hacer commit/push, meeting, deadline. Outside the tech world, prefer the fully Spanish forms.
