Hints for this Quiz
Think of "hacer" in the tú imperative – it’s an exception, like "decir", "ir", etc.
In the affirmative imperative for "tú", many verbs use the 3rd person singular of the present tense, but "hacer" is irregular: "haz". See the list of irregular tú forms: di, haz, ve, pon, sal, sé, ten, ven.
For commands (tú), choose the imperative form, not the usual "you do" (present indicative).
Here you need a command (tú): "haz". The forms "hace"/"haces" are indicative (he does / you do), not imperative. The tú imperative is irregular: "haz".
Rule: tú (affirmative imperative) ≈ 3rd person singular present: hablar → habla, subir → sube.
For tú in the affirmative imperative of regular verbs we take the 3rd person singular present form: "subir" → "sube". The options "subes"/"suba" are not the right form here.
Regular -ir verbs in the tú imperative: vive, abre, escribe…
The verb "abrir" is regular: for tú → "abre". "Abres" is indicative, "abra" is the usted form.
Look for the form that matches the 3rd person singular present: fusiona.
For tú (affirmative) with regular -ar verbs: hablar → habla, fusionar → fusiona. "Fusiones"/"fusione" are based on the subjunctive forms, which you don’t need here.
Think in Spanish: "desplegar" is the standard verb, "deployar" is slang.
In IT circles you can hear Spanglish forms like "deployar/deploya", but the standard Spanish verb is "desplegar/despliega". In informal IT slang "deployar" appears, but it’s jargon.
Regular -ar verbs in the tú imperative are formed simply: habla, mira, revisa.
Regular -ar: revisar → revisa (tú, affirmative). Rule: tú ≈ 3rd person singular of the present tense.
Choose the tú imperative form, not the present indicative form.
Here you need a command (tú): "actualiza". The forms "actualices"/"actualice" belong to a different paradigm (subjunctive), and "actualizas" is indicative. See the rule about the tú imperative here.
