Hints for this Quiz

Think: Kassenrezept = GKV (with a small co-pay).
The “rosa Rezept” is the statutory health insurance prescription; the GKV covers it and you pay a small co-payment (typ. 5–10 €) .
Four weeks = 28 days from the issue date.
For GKV reimbursement, a pink prescription is usually valid for four weeks from the issue date; after that the insurer won’t pay, even though the paper may still be technically redeemable .
Privatrezept = längere Gültigkeit.
A blue (private/self-pay) prescription is usually valid for three months; private patients pay first and claim reimbursement from their insurer; GKV usually does not cover items outside its catalog .
Sehr schnell einlösen!
BTM prescriptions (yellow) are for controlled substances and are valid for only 7 days; they have special security and multiple sheets .
Empfehlung = selbst zahlen.
A green prescription is a doctor’s recommendation for non-prescription medicines; you usually pay yourself (no GKV reimbursement) .
eGK oder QR-Code – aber nur einmal einlösbar.
You redeem an e-prescription with your eGK or a printed/app QR code, and it can only be redeemed once; paper is no longer required except as a fallback printout with code .
