Hints for this Quiz

Yes/no → ob; verb goes to the end in the subordinate clause.
Use ob for yes/no questions and move the conjugated verb to the end of the clause.
Time question → wann; keep the verb at the end.
Use wann for time questions; in indirect questions the verb goes to the end. Wenn means “if/whenever,” not “when” in indirect questions.
Question word + clause with the verb at the end.
With wo, keep normal subordinate clause order: subject/object before the verb at the end.
Replace the yes/no with ob and send the verb to the end.
Yes/no → ob; the finite verb goes to the end inside the indirect question. Options 2–4 keep direct order or use the wrong question word.
Warum + subordinate clause with the verb at the end.
With warum, keep subordinate word order (verb at the end). Options 1 and 4 keep direct question order; 3 is ungrammatical.
Think: question word + verb at the end; no do-support in German.
Use the question word (wie lange) and subordinate word order with the verb at the end.
