Por la mañana: general period of the day (in the morning, in general). For exact times, use a + la(s): a las 9, a la 1.
Ej.: Por la mañana repaso vocabulario. Por la tarde veo un vídeo. Por la noche leo. Tip: por also marks duration: Dormí por 8 horas.
En: months/years (en julio, en 2025). Tip: use 1‑hour blocks for a task. In Spain people talk about “trabajo en bloques de tiempo” (working in time blocks).
Ej.: En una hora hago un simulacro de test. Luego descanso 5 min. In English, “in one hour” is a convenient block of time for concentration.
Desde/Hasta: start and end. Plan your time: desde las 9 hasta las 10 = a study block.
A partir de: like “from” a moment onward. Ej.: A partir de mañana estudio 30 min después de cenar.
