Si + presente: futuro e imperativo en tareas tech
Dannis
If you work with code, use real conditionals: si + presente → futuro or imperativo. In English: "if ..., then ...". Very useful for task descriptions.
For consequences/plans: si + presente + futuro. Example: Si hay tiempo, probaremos. The simple future expresses plans and predictions.

For instructions: si + presente + imperativo. Example: Si falla, reinicia. Si no funciona, avísame. The imperative gives orders and instructions.

Watch the pronouns in the affirmative imperative: avísame (= avisa + me), súbelo (= sube + lo). They get attached to the end of the verb.

More team examples: — Si puedes, súbelo. — Si ves un bug, crea una incidencia. — Si hay dudas, me llamas. Direct and polite (add "por favor" if you want).
Tip: For near-future plans, you also use ir a + infinitivo: Si hay tiempo, vamos a probar. This perífrasis expresses a near intention.
