mucho/mucha + no contable: mucho trabajo; mucha prisa (a lot of). muchos/muchas + contable: muchos bugs; muchas tareas.

pocos/pocas (few, not many): Hoy tenemos pocos bugs. → quizá es un buen día.

bastantes (quite a lot / enough, more than a few): Tenemos bastantes tareas. More than "algunas", less than "muchas".

demasiados/demasiadas (too many): Hay demasiados bugs en QA. → an excessive amount, a problem.

un montón de (colloquial, a lot / loads of): Tenemos un montón de tickets. Colloquial/informal.

algo de + no contable (some, a bit of): Tengo algo de tiempo para testear.

Cultural note: In Spain people say "bug" in IT, as well as "fallo/error".

Office Spanglish: daily, meeting, deadline… it’s normal between colleagues.

Useful colloquial phrase: "Estoy hasta arriba de trabajo" = I’m overloaded with work / I’m swamped.

Correct answer: "demasiados". "Demasiados" = too many (an excess), often with a negative tone.

We use "algo de" with uncountable nouns: algo de tiempo (a bit of time).
Countable or uncountable? "Tiempo" is uncountable.
"Un montón de tareas" significa aproximadamente…

bastantes tareas
"Un montón de" is colloquial: a lot / loads ≈ muchas. It’s not "pocas" and is usually stronger than "bastantes".
It’s a colloquial expression for "a lot".
