tensión = presión arterial. “Me ha subido la tensión”. Muy usado en España en coloquial. In other words, it refers to blood pressure.
“Tengo el azúcar alto” = glucosa alta (about blood sugar). También: “la tensión por las nubes”. Expresiones típicas de mayores.
“Tengo acidez” (= ardor). Abuelos aún dicen “ardentías” (término antiguo). Útil reconocer ambas. In English: heartburn.
